Microsoft finally gets around to announcing the Surface 4 Pro tablet

After the addition of the Surface 3 and the release of the Windows 10 operating system, many speculated that it was a matter of time before Microsoft announced the Surface 4. The time was right, however Microsoft seemed determine to not releases anything that would start a rumor, nor anything concrete. However after the announcement of Apple’s iPad Pro and Google’s Pixel C tablets, it seems Microsoft finally thought the time was right and today they have announced the details surrounding the eagerly awaiting Surface 4.

During today’s Microsoft Windows 10 Devices event, the Surface 4 Pro has finally been announced!

Update: Pricing for the Surface 4 Pro starts at $899 and is available for pre-order tomorrow, October 7 and will be available in stores and shipping on October 26, 2015.
