Match Mondo Receives Live-Action Film Adaptation

It was announced that Shougo Horiuchi’s manga series Match Mondo will be receiving a live-action movie adaptation! Kotaro Daigo has been cast as Mikio Togura, one of the story’s main protagonists.

Match Mondo’s story is described as follows:

The story revolves around Match to Match, a matching app that connects users with their “fighting opponents.” One of the main characters is Mahiro Kagome, an 18-year-old young man who is penniless, unemployed, and fond of women. He helps Mikio Togura, who is being pursued because of Match to Match. From his encounter with the timid and trouble-prone Mikio, Mahiro becomes embroiled in a fierce struggle surrounding the mysterious app.
