Marvel’s Ironheart Gets First Trailer

It's her time now.

Ironheart

While Marvel Studios seems to potentially be “straightening itself out,” that doesn’t mean that it’s not outputting certain things in the meantime. We’ve already had two MCU films debut this year and a key return via Daredevil that many are hoping will be even better in Season 2. Yet, this year we’ll also get two key solo series debuts, with the first being Ironheart. To say this show has been “a long time coming” is an understatement, and there’s been plenty of BTS drama that kept Riri off screen since her Black Panther Wakanda Forever debut.

However, this June, that will change, as her own series hits Disney+, and we now have the official trailer for that:

Iconic 🤍#Ironheart, Marvel Television's all-new series from executive producer Ryan Coogler, launches with a 3-episode premiere June 24 at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET, only on @DisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/BkAsLL86Of

So, there’s plenty going on here, including that Riri is apparently aligning with The Hood to help get cash to fund her Ironheart suit. Obviously, that won’t last, but it’s definitely an…interesting route to go here. They also make it clear that Ryan Coogler is helping produce this, likely to bank off the success of not just Black Panther, but the recent Sinners film that’s still getting buzz.

Either way, we’ll see how this goes on June 24th when we get the three-episode premiere.
