Marvel Powers United Lets You Play as Marvel Heroes With the Oculus Rift

By Yhani JonesJuly 17, 2017

The time has finally come! Marvel invites fans to unleash their powers in the point of view of few powerful characters from it’s vast universe of superheroes with the brand new Marvel Powers United VR made for the Oculus Rift headset.

Check out the announcement trailer below:

Oh, this is going to be great! We have seen a few superhero virtual reality adaptations including Batman: Arkham VR and the recent Spider-Man Homecoming VR experience in light of the new film. But with Marvel Powers United VR, players get the chance to choose from and fight with different heroes from the Marvel Universe.

As seen in the trailer above there are currently four characters to choose from, but there is no doubt that more will come after updates in the future. Engage in numerous battles alone or with friends in a special co-op mode as Rocket Raccoon, Hulk, Captain Marvel, and even Ronan the Accuser.

This game will allow you to finally step into the shoes, giant feet, and paws of some of Marvel’s most popular characters!

In addition to the intense battle, players have the chance to unlock new outfits for the characters and in time, unlock more heroes too!

If you’re interested in this special experience, you will need to have the Oculus Rift + Touch currently running at $399.99, since it is currently exclusive to the headset right now. In addition to Marvel Powers United VR, there are plenty of other great games available for the Oculus Rift aswell.

Who do you think will be the next Marvel character to be added to this roster? My guess is Iron Man! Let us know what you think in the comments below and stay tuned here at The Outerhaven to find out who this locked character will turn out to be!
