At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Cosmic Invasion showed up in a big way, giving us a much-needed update on the upcoming team-based action game. During the game’s dedicated panel, attendees got their first real taste of what’s coming, and that includes new characters, voice talent confirmations, and a release window.
Before today, only 9 of the game’s 15 playable characters had been confirmed. That changed quickly during the SDCC 2025 panel, as two more heroes were officially revealed: Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill. That brings the roster total to 11, with more characters likely to be announced in the coming months.
But that wasn’t all. The panel also brought out several of the game’s voice actors, including:
- Brian Bloom, who is pulling double duty as both Captain America and Silver Surfer
- Elysia Rotaru, stepping into the role of She-Hulk
- Trevor Devall, who’s voicing the always-wisecracking Rocket Raccoon
Additionally, it was confirmed that Steve Blum is lending his iconic voice to Beta Ray Bill and Venom.
Here’s the entire list of voice actors who’ll be lending their talents to the game.
- Brian Bloom (Captain America, Silver Surfer)
- Steve Blum (Venom, Beta Ray Bill)
- Trevor Devall (Rocket Raccoon)
- Cal Dodd (Wolverine)
- Josh Keaton (Spider-Man)
- Matt Mercer (Nova, Annihilus)
- Aileen Mythen (Phyla-Vell)
- Elysia Rotaru (She-Hulk)
- Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm)
More voice actors will be revealed at a later date.
I’m still geeking out that Beta Ray Bill is even being added. Now, if they only add more cosmic characters, like Quasar, I’ll be in heaven. Yes, I know Phyla-Vell ended up with the Quantum Bands after the original Quasar had died, but he eventually was resurrected and got them back.
With the addition of Beta Ray Bill and the Silver Surfer, this is the playable roster for Marvel Cosmic Invasion:
- Captain America
- Spider‑Man
- Wolverine
- Storm
- Nova
- Phyla‑Vell
- Venom
- She-Hulk
- Rocket Raccoon
- Beta Ray Bill
- Silver Surfer
Sadly, there’s still no date on when Marvel Comics Invasion will be released, but at least we know that the game will still be released in 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
