So, it appears that this is a “day of delays” in the video game community. Who would’ve thought? First, GTA 6 got delayed to NEXT November, which I’m sure will break the internet, and now, Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra, the title by Skydance Games, has also been hit with a delay. However, this one doesn’t have a surefire window, just that it’ll drop in 2026. You can see the full announcement by Skydance below:

For those who don’t recall, Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra is set during World War II, during the early days of Captain America being in the war. He and others are chasing down the threat of Hydra when he comes into conflict with the Black Panther. No, not T’Challa, but his grandfather, Azzuri.
Together, whether they like it or not, they’ll fight off whatever threats Hydra throws at them. The initial look of the game teased something very realistic-looking with its graphics, but we hadn’t seen any gameplay. Perhaps that’s what’s taking so long with the delay, as Skydance Games wants it to play as well as it looks.
Only time will tell…including whether we get another delay today…
