Newegg Is Prepping for the for GTX 1080 May 27th Launch

By Keith MitchellMay 21, 2016

While Nvidia announced their upcoming GTX 1080 GPU and sent samples out to multiple hardware reviewers and tech channels, we didn’t get any notification on where we could get the cards at first. Over at Newegg, looks like they’re getting ready for the launch on May 27, 2016 and are listing multiple GTX 1080’s.

Taking a look over a their GTX 1080 promo page, we can see that they are advertising GTX 1080 Founders Editions from Evga, Msi, Asus, Gigabyte, Zotac, and PNY. No prices yet, however since all these cards are Founders Edition, expect to see them start at $699.99. No sign of the Nvidia GTX 1080 Founders Edition card, as Nvidia will be selling this directly.

Are you picking up a GTX 1080, waiting on the GTX 1070 or are you content with what you have in your rigs for now?
