Konami Press Start 2025 Recap: Metal Gear Solid Delta Multiplayer, Silent Hill Remake, Suikoden Star Leap and More

Konami Press Start June 2025 Broadcast

While I was still recovering from Summer Game Fest 2025 Play Days and trying to make my way back home, Konami showed up in force with its Konami Press Start 2025 broadcast, giving us an extended look at some of its biggest upcoming games. From a brand-new multiplayer mode in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to a chilling update on Silent Hill f, and even a new Suikoden RPG, there was a lot to unpack.

Here’s a rundown of the biggest highlights that fans will want to keep an eye on.

First up, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater continues to look impressive. Producers Noriaki Okamura and Yuji Korekado revealed two fun new side modes: Snake Vs. Monkey and Snake Vs. Bomberman. Yes, you read that right. The Bomberman collaboration brings explosive gameplay to the Xbox Series X|S version.

On top of that, director Yu Sahara teased FOX HUNT, an original online multiplayer mode where stealth is key. Players will need to blend into the environment and outsmart their opponents in this fresh take on the series’ core gameplay. More information on FOX HUNT will be coming at a later date

Next, we got an in-depth developer diary on Silent Hill f, a game that I know more than a few survival horror fans are looking forward to. Producer Motoi Okamoto, scriptwriter Ryukishi07, and the team at NeoBards Entertainment walked us through the game’s focus on Japanese horror elements, promising a return to the series’ terrifying roots. The showcase ended with a cryptic tease of a Silent Hill remake that is currently in development. No details yet, but it’s something fans will no doubt be watching closely.

Konami also surprised Suikoden fans with Suikoden Star Leap, a new RPG set between Suikoden V and Suikoden I. Featuring 2D pixel characters with 3D backgrounds, Star Leap is heading to Steam, iOS, and Android.

On top of that, Suikoden I & II HD Remasters are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 with visual upgrades.

Meanwhile, the EDENS ZERO demo is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and Steam. Players can dive in and carry their save data into the full game when it releases on July 15.

A new indie action-platformer called Darwin’s Paradox! is also on the way from Paris-based ZDT Studio. Players control Darwin, a clever octopus ripped from the sea and thrown into an alien world. The gameplay highlights Darwin’s unique abilities, like using his arms for traversal and shooting ink to fend off enemies. The game is available to wishlist now, with more news expected soon.

For Nintendo Switch 2 players, Survival Kids, a co-op survival game, is out now as an exclusive launch title. It takes full advantage of the system’s GameShare linking and GameChat features.

It’s clear to see that Konami has no intention of slowing down in 2025. Whether you’re a Metal Gear stealth fan, a Silent Hill horror junkie, or a Suikoden RPG diehard, there’s a lot to be excited about in the months ahead. Which is not only ironic but appreciated, given that just a few years ago, it seemed like the once powerful gaming juggernaut was never going to awaken again. It’s good to see that Konami is back!

Here’s the entire broadcast, just in case you want to see it for yourself.
