Easily one of the more interesting surprises in the first year of the Nintendo Switch 2 is that the system is getting not one but two Kirby titles for players to enjoy. Later this year, Masahiro Sakurai will bring Kirby Air Riders to the console, allowing a different racing experience than what Mario Kart World offers. But before then, the Switch classic Kirby and the Forgotten Land is getting its “Star-Crossed World” expansion via the Switch 2 Edition. Previously, we showed you an overview trailer for what the game would be like, but today, Hal Labs dropped a gameplay video for you to watch.
In it, you’ll see how Kirby can activate items in levels to full-tilt transform things into something brand new. This will undoubtedly lead to new level paths, enemy confrontations, and chances to free the new “Starry” characters that Kirby and his friends will meet!
Hal Labs released new footage of Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star-Crossed World.I'm definitely expecting a brand new 3D Kirby Platformer within the next few years.
