KENSHI YONEZU launched the new song “IRIS OUT” today, which serves as the official theme song for CHAINSAW MAN – THE MOVIE: REZE ARC. YONEZU previously provided the opening theme, “KICK BACK,” for the CHAINSAW MAN television anime series. “KICK BACK” became the first-ever Japanese song to be RIAA Gold-certified in the United States.
The music video for “IRIS OUT” also debuted today:
Of the track, KENSHI YONEZU says, “It’s a great privilege to continue my musical involvement from the TV anime series to the film. I kept the Reze scenes from the original manga open around the clock, glaring at the pages as I worked on the song. I hope you enjoy it.”
