It was announced that Kenji Matsuraba has decided to step down from his role as CEO of SNK and transition into an advisory position. Matsuraba has served as SNK’s CEO since August 2021. In the meantime, SNK announced that their current Chairman of the Board will fill the role as an interim CEO, although it was not stated who the Chairman is. The company simply lists its board members all with the title of “Director.”
SNK was founded in 1978 and is primarily known for games such as King of Fighters, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, and as the developers of the NeoGeo gaming console.
