Kairiki Bear is a popular Vocaloid producer with over 390 million views on YouTube and various hit songs such as “Venom” and “Darling Dance.” Last year they held their first live performance, Yamiaka Steroid hosted by Spotify O-EAST, which is now scheduled to be released on Blu-ray.
The performance combined Vocaloid with visual art and 3DCG elements, an unprecedented endeavor for a solo live performance by a Vocaloid producer which can only be described as next-generation. Both the afternoon and evening shows were sold-out, proving it was a massive success.
The Blu-ray release will include all 23 songs performed during the evening show, as well the additional 4 songs that were performed exclusively during the afternoon, for a total of 27 songs. In addition, the Blu-ray will also include a story-like video presentation with narration by Nao Toyama.
The first-edition Blu-ray will come with special packaging and an enclosed bonus (contents to be announced later), so be sure to reserve a copy as soon as possible.
