Following the release of Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME on mobile devices, it has been reported that the game has achieved a playerbase of 2 million+ and is ranked #1 on the Apple App Store for role-playing games.

As far as where it ranks on the charts, Akatsuki Games reports that it has earned a Top 3 spot for adventure and free-to-play games
