Rex Splode, from Invincible VS is a snarky, snide, and stereotypical jerk. The devs working on Invincible VS have nothing to really say about this character, but all these in context. Usually, the jerk character is the best to have in the corner, so Rex might be the guy to go for the 3 vs 3. Even if he finds a way to use magnetic alphabet fridge letters as a means to attack a foe.
Rex will be a Zoner type with different projectiles that get more versatile. One of them has directional inputs to look forward to getting nailed by. Rex can’t fly, so to compensate, he gets a wall kick. Rex also gets explosive traps to use. Rex’s taunt coin flip can count as an actual hit. Rex is a helpful character to take onto the field as a teammate because of the 5-second traps that he can use.

Invincible VS will be playable at the Evo USA 2025 Championships. Invincible, Atom Eve, Bulletproof, Thula, and Rex Splode will be around to play with in Best Of 3 Local Versus Matches. Sticks, Hitbox, and controllers are allowed. A hidden character seems to be next to come and will be making it to the show, also.
