HYTE’s New Gundam Wing PC Gear is a Must-Have for Anime and PC Building Fans

Hyte Gundam Wing Y70 Touch Infinite-01

HYTE and Bandai Namco Entertainment America just dropped a new collaboration that Gundam fans—and PC builders—won’t want to miss. Officially licensed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime, HYTE is releasing a decked-out collection of themed PC gear that includes a sleek new Y70 Touch Infinite case, a matching keycap set, a wall scroll, and more.

Let’s talk about the highlight of all the announced gear, that sexy case. The Gundam Wing Y70 Touch Infinite Limited Edition features a clean white base with sharp black trim and colorful details inspired by the legendary Wing Gundam Zero. That includes a bright yellow power button, red feet, yellow drive bays, and a red PCIE 4.0 riser cable. On top of that, the tempered glass side panel has a UV-printed image of Wing Gundam Zero, and the case’s integrated display? Yeah, it boots up with exclusive Gundam Wing animations. It’s the kind of over-the-top detail that fans eat up—and this one’s limited, so when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Maybe after this is gone, Hyte will work on either a Deathscythe or Tallgeese, which are two of my favorite Gundams / Mobile Suits from the Gundam Wing series.

All this style doesn’t come cheap, though. The case is priced at $499.99, which might put it out of reach for more budget-conscious builders. But let’s be real—if there’s one thing I know about my fellow PC building enthusiasts, it’s that performance and style usually trump price tags. If something looks this good and shows off our nerd cred, most of us are already reaching for the credit card.

According to King Perez, Marketing Executive Producer at iBUYPOWER / HYTE:

“A lot of us at HYTE closely follow the gaming and anime scene… It was very humbling to be chosen as an official licensee for Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. We poured a lot of love, detail and attention into the case’s design.”

HYTE didn’t stop with just the case, and is also offering the following:

  • A Limited Edition Keycap Set with 152 caps, styled after Wing Gundam and Gundam Epyon, compatible with most ANSI and UK ISO layouts.
  • A 900mm x 400mm Desk Pad featuring crisp artwork from the anime.
  • A Wall Scroll showcasing all five iconic mobile suits from the series.

You can pre-order everything now at HYTE.com, and Canadian fans can hit up Canada Computers.

I’ve been a fan of HYTE’s stuff for a while now. I’ve seriously considered ditching my current case just to make room for one of theirs. But mine still works fine, and I figured swapping it out purely for aesthetics might lead to a “discussion” with the wife that ends with me sleeping on the couch. So I passed—for now. But if you’re in the market for a new case or just want to flex on your fellow weebs, HYTE’s Gundam lineup is absolutely worth a look. Or at the very least, get that sexy AF mouse pad.
