There is something to be said about the growth of Cover Corporation and the boom in interest in VTubers since the COVID-19 pandemic. We were so separated, but many found solace and comfort when VTubers entertained and brought smiles to the masses. If there is one thing you have to give credit to Cover Corporation, it is this. I certainly fell into the Vtuber rabbit hole with other indie Vtubers before knowing the growing company that is Cover Corp and Hololive. I was then hooked by their alumni talent, Kiryu Coco. One of the first English-speaking Hololive Vtubers, and helped pave the way to the current generations of Holo English (EN). Now with four generations of Hololive English Vtubers: Myth, Council/ Promise, Advent, and Jusice, the growth is just astonishing. And now here we are for All For One.
When I heard that Hololive would be bringing their first concert, “Connect the World,” it was just amazing news for the fans in the West and LA. With the second concert of “Breaking Dimension”, when I heard the news that it was coming to my home city and borough of Brooklyn, New York, I had to be there. When I attended the Breaking Dimensions concert last year at Kings Theater, it was just an experience was was indescribable. Simply put is you had to be there. Fast forward to 2025. Cover Corp revealed that the third concert, “All for One”, would be coming to New York again. This time to one of the grandest stages in Broadway: Radio City Music Hall. Naturally, a no-brainer for me, and I made it a priority. While it did take place during Anime NYC weekend, I say this was the perfect topper for that weekend, especially when I was beaten down mentally from my day job. Like with Breaking Dimensions, I will repeat the same words that you just had to be there. If there is any difference with All For One, it would be best described as coming back home to a community that is united for those two nights. In New York at Radio City Music Hall, it was like the concert’s namesake. All for One. Everyone is coming together for one purpose. If it isn’t obvious already, I LOVED this concert. And like the article’s title, it is indeed a stellar experience.
(Disclaimer: Tickets were provided by Cover Corporation and The Conduite for coverage and review of the event. All statements here are my own opinions and not representative of Cover Corporation or any of its properties. Biggest thanks to William Goldstien, Alex Rushin, and Ann Marie, who aided in amenities. You are all fantastic. )
The First Night
So, regarding the first night. Me and my colleague/friend Matthew Paul were traveling from the Javits Center from Anime NYC 2025 to Radio City Music Hall. Like with any panel or convention, you want to be at least an hour or so to beat the crowds. That is just the main 101 rules of conventions. It was about a half-hour walk from the center. While walking, we saw many fans walking from the Javits Center. From the Dead Beats, KFPs, Ruffians, and many other fan groups of Holo English. To see them all mass in the same venue is always an interesting sight. But if there is one characteristic that they share, it is that they are very friendly and open. Being normal is overrated, and nothing is normal when you are in New York City. When we arrived around 3:30 PM, the crowd that had lined up early wasn’t so bad. If anything, it is much better compared to the Kings Theater for Breaking Dimensions. Props to the security staff and that one security lady who was friendly and helpful. Absolutely amazing service by her, and the Hololive community acknowledged it. Radio City Music Hall Security Manager, please give her our highest praise and regards.
We got into the venue with no problem. If you haven’t already, please check out my coverage of the Kenshi Yonzeu JUNK Tour concert, as that was my first experience in Radio City Music Hall. I was familiar with the layout, so I knew where to go. One thing I was surprised by was that there was no merch booth for the event. Being so used to having concerts with a merch booth, it took me by surprise. I wanted to get the All For One light pens that immediately sold out online, and I hope they had some in stock for sale. But oh well. I can understand, given to concerns about crowding and the cost to rent the space.
One thing to highlight was the basement level. They had the banner and bouquet of flowers for each of the Holo EN groups. There was a separate bouquet for Raora Panthera of Justice by her community and fans, the Chattinos. It was a beautiful display, and to just see the love present for these girls, I couldn’t help but smile and feel proud of how much they have improved and grown over the years. To support your favorite idols, oshis, or role models, and to see them succeed. Their happiness becomes your happiness. And maybe it becomes a drive to keep on keeping on in the journey we call life.
Getting to our seats was no problem, and the biggest thanks to Ann Marie for attending to the PR people. I never had Radio City Music Hall Popcorn before. It was good, and the popcorn box was apparently a collector’s item. This is a general tip. If you want to be part of the mosh pit, the fans, and stand up for the rest of the concert, and have strong knees, get yourself an Orchestra section seat. Expensive? Yes. Though apparently there were some Orchestra seats that were given for a low price or gifted by fans. From fan Discords to Twitter posts, fans helping fans get access to the concert. That just restores my faith in humanity a bit. If you are saving but still want to have a good view of the show, the Mezzanine seats are just as viable. Either way, any seats at Radio City Music Hall are prime. As the show was getting ready, the fandom was just having a fun time waiting. Hearing the chants and catch phrases of each oshi and group. The Bau Baus, the Huzzahs, the WAHs, Justice Chants, Shuba Shubas, and so forth. This is just a moment when you see the unity of the community that leaves you in awe.
(Use the link here for the Setlist for night one.)
Now the seats were filled, the lights dimmed, and the intro video for the concert began. All the members were being introduced, and the fans cheered. The excitement levels were peaking. And begins the theme song for the concert, “All For One.” This song set the tone for this night and the following night. It has all the members of Holo English. The feeling of unity, belief, passion, and love of the community and its talents. All together for this song, and aptly named. Hearing everyone sing the chorus, it was just chills. I even shouted the lyrics of All For One! It was just a moment when the fans were synchronized and harmonized. It then continues with Advent’s song of “Genesis“. All the members of Advent really bring the hype to the song. If anything else, it really brings the theme of criminals and free spirits. Nerrissa, Bijou, Fuwawa, Mococo, and Shiori. It is the perfect club song. We then have our first solo in Ina with “TEMARI“. There are many reasons why people love Ina and are part of the Takodachis and the cult of WAH. This song is moving and haunting. Gives me Nier vibes.
Then starts the first MC segment with Ina and Baelz. Basically, engaging the crowd and letting the people know watching on YouTube that the free preview portion would be ending, though it will continue for those who bought the streaming ticket. Though I must say, seeing the preview stream and comparing it to actually being there in person, there is a difference. I understand that for the stream, they had to nerf the sound from the audience. But the audience involvement really brings the passion and adds so much to the engagement. So I say if you can come to any Hololive concert in person, do so.
Next song is Justice’s debut song “ABOVE BELOW“. This song really pumps the crowd. I am definitely a fan of Justice, especially for Raora and Elizabeth. Hearing the chant of “JUSTICE! JUST LIKE THAT!” I had absolute shivers. One of my favorite songs that night. Next, we had our first guest appearance. It would be Oozora Subaru performing “Hot Duck” alongside FUWAMOCO and Bijou. Can’t help to chuckle that this is just a word play on Hot Dog and that the song is just about hot dogs. Next song is Baelz with her original song ” RxRxR” with Mori Callipe. This was another high-energy song that really got the New York crowd pumping, and the engagement from her with the crowd was top-notch. We then had the next guest appearance: Tokoyami Towa. She would appear with Kronii and perform with IRyS with her song “Gravity” . I heard Towa’s performance before with her songs, but hearing her with IRyS and Kronii with this song, I was awe-struck. When she sang, she brought high power and tone like the original song. It was a resonating performance.
We then head to the second MC section with the three, and here would be one of the funniest moments of the night. With a Japanese guest visiting New York for the first time, Kronii and IRyS had to teach Towa the lingo here. Namely, the perceived New York stereotype of New Yorkers saying ” Ay I’m walkin’ ere!” Though speaking as one, we don’t say that. It’s just a popular movie quote. However, I’m happy that Towa has got the pronunciation down and has been granted honorary status as a New Yorker by the crowd.
Continuing, we had Cecelia Immergreen with her solo of “Wind-up“. A nice light-hearted song to ease from the high energy. A sea of green penlights when she was on stage and during her dance. It was a beautiful sight to see. Next is Raora Panthera with her song of “Gacha x Gacha ADEVNTURE!” Ever since her debut, I was immediately a Chattino. From her Italian heritage and warm and welcoming personality, it should be easy to understand why many people love her. With this song, it the just pure cuteness and a prime example of Moe. A big cat, with big dreams. RAO! It then heads to the next MC session with her and Nerrissa Ravencrodt. They had a moment of them engaging the crowd with the wave of penlights, and when Nerrissa was touching Raora’s fluffy tail.
Next song would be Nerssia with her original song ” In My FeelingS“. This song is a very good argument for why there are many fans of her, or Jailbirds. Matt and I enjoy City-pop, and this song was just all-around vibes. A perfect song for New York. Her vocals are soothing, and the lyrics are a mood. A somber but beautiful message. After, it was the next guest appearance of Ayunda Risu of Hololive Indonesia. She would be performing her son “ALiCE&u” with Nerrisa and Elizabeth. This was a powerful combination, cause when you hear them together and reach the high notes of that song, you would feel yourself ascend. It was that powerful and peak. Risu is already amazing. Combined with other talents like Nerrisa and Elizabeth, everyone was just howling in awe at the amazing performance. It would then transition to the next MC session with Elizabeth and Risu. Of course, when having Risu, we have to have a moment in which there is a “Deez Nutz” joke.
Now we get into the Eurobeat mood with IRyS with “DIAMOND GIRLFRIEND“. If you love Initial D, this song is perfect for you. Especially since MOTSU helped with this song, who helped with Initial D‘s original songs. Hearing that chorus of “HOT HOT HOT”, it was hard not to be pumped and hyped. Next, it was Ruffians’ turn to play, with FUWAMOCO’s cover of Ookami Mio’s “Howling“. A strong feeling song from one wolf Vtuber to the dog twins. Props to Fuwawa and Mococo on their choreography and vocal performance. We then had the next guest appearance: Kureji Ollie. Though not a surprise if you attended the Sychronize concert at Anime NYC. It would be Chaos three of her, Baelz, and Gigi performing the song “Countach” by Hijime of ReGloss. This song was just entrancing. From the strings and lyrics of breaking the status quo. It was perfect for the three causes if you know them, subtly and order is not what they do. Of course, the fans love the gremlin energy that those three have. For all the HoloENigmatic lovers, the next song is “MONTSER” by Ina, Kronii, Shiori, and Gigi. The swing style of the song reminded me of Spy X Family. A mood song of viewing yourself in the mirror, and the different masks/ personas you adapt. If you have seen the HoloENigmatic special, it’s much on the nose. It would then lead to the final MC session of the night with Cecelia and Gigi. This was another highlight, as it would give Korone a challenge for best cartwheels. The reason I said that is that Gigi did three cartwheels for the audience. Apparently, the staff behind the scenes was scared when Gigi did that.
We are approaching the end of the night. It then moves to Kira’s medley of “Perfume” and “TASTY“. The best way I can describe these songs is sensual. If you watch the MV, it oozes sex appeal. Aiming straight to the heart of the listener and the KFPs. Really shows the amount of hard work that Kira has done since. The next song arguably is the most memorable that night. Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame’s performance of Hoshimachi Suisei’s “Stellar Stellar“. Since her debut, Elizabeth has been known for her personality, delivery, and insane vocal range. Her singing is just an experience to hear. Her ability to hold the high notes is just amazing. Elizabeth’s rendition of the song is just something you have to hear for yourself. Definitely a tear-jerking performance. Then it was Myth’s turn with “Seishun Archive” . This song is just cheery and uplifting. Celebrating youth and chasing your dreams. An optimistic message on your life. Hearing this song from Mori, Kiara, and Ina, you can’t help but smile at the energy.
The night then ends with all of Holo English with “Connect the World” and ending with “Odyssey“. There is some somberness with these songs. The reason is that some of the previous members have graduated since the song’s original creation. While they are no longer part of Cover Corp, their impact can still be felt after all these years. And the fans made it clear. This was my first time listening to “Oddyssey”, and it gave me that fantasy vibe like Friren. A nice surprise is the use of Nordic in the lyrics. Mori composed this song, and involving all of Holo English is amazing. To collaborate with everyone and make this song, another great example of why her community calls her dad.
This night was just an amazing start to All For One. Reminder. This is only night one! If you want the full experience, you go for both nights.
Night Two
(Use link here for Night Two’s setlist)
So repeat the gathering of the fans heading to Radio City and hyping up once again, this time for night two. And for those who aren’t aware, the set lists are different for both nights. So if you attend only one night, it would be a different experience. But if you have the luxury to attend both nights, you are in for the full experience. Personally, it is well worth it. Funny enough, I had an extra paid ticket for night two, and I gifted it to our newest colleague, Richard, to attend with me. While he didn’t have much experience with Vtubers, after tonight, it pushed him into the rabbit hole. Props to the preshow hype and the cosplayers. Especially to the TakaMori cosplayer who kissed on stream.
So the crowd has assembled again for night number two. The lights go dark, and we begin with “START AGAIN” by Mori, Nerrisa, Elizabeth, and IRyS. A perfect song to start off night two. And aptly named, too. The energy of the song and the vocals by everyone were perfect for hyping the crowd. The lyric of “We are Unbreakable now” was just energizing. We then move to Bijou’s performance of Houshou Marine’s “Dead Ma’am’s Chest“. Continuing with the high energy and power. Koseki Bijou challenged herself with this song, and she did not disappoint. She brought the energy and made the headbangers rock out. It then continues with Gigi with “Wonky Monkey” by Inugami Korone. Great pop song combined with the gremlin energy of Gigi. Put your hands up! The next song is “CHIMERA” by Kiara, and accompanied by IRyS. This is a great club song. Like with “TASTY”, the sensuality and vibes would make anyone kneel. Just read the comments on her video to understand. Of course, the KFPs were eating it up in this moment. We then had the first MC session with the two, in which they reenacted the CEO Coldplay concert meme.
We then continue with the Ruffians and Fuwamoco with “Lifetime Showtime“. This song is cute, and you just have to join in the chorus when they say BAU BAU! The song that represents the journey of the two. You want to support these two guard dogs who protect your smile. The crowd was nuts with this song, and I love the engagement. BAU BAU! We then have Shiori performing “AKUMA” by Tokoyami Towa. Shiori nailed down the feelings of the song. There was this sense of angst and punk that matched Shiori very well. A great performance by her. The next song is “Suspect” by Kiara, Shiori, and Risu. A very recognizable song in the community. For me, I knew it from the fan game Holocure. A pop song that is easy to dance to and just brings smiles to everyone. We then had the next MC session with Mori and Bijou.
This next part was a shift in performance. Instead of singing, it would be a pure dance performance by Hakos Baelz of “ La Roja Live Version“. The dance and choreography were just mesmerizing. This had that Latin flair that would make any Hispanic proud. The audience enjoyed every moment of her dance. Now, this next song, Ouro Kronii requested to do this song. It is Kira’s “DO U“. Kronii has a way in her delivery and presentation. Her performance of this song captures the mood and adds the demure that could only come from the Warden of Time. Witnessing the crowd, they were enthralled by Kronii. In the next song, we turn the energy down. We have Fuwamoco, Cecelia, and Ina performing “SHALLYS” by Aki Rosenthal. This was a memorable moment because it also showcased Cecelia playing the violin in real time. I’m still amazed that the technology that we can now render instrumental performance with the Vtuber models. And the dance by them all eased the souls of the audience and the watchers. We then transition to the next MC session with Fuwamoco and Subaru. I distinctly recall Fuwawa and Mococo discussing with Subaru about New York and how Subaru likes the New York-style hot Dogs. Of course, this is a reference to last night’s song that she did.
Bring the energy back up, we have Promise, IRyS, Kronii, and Baelz with ” feelinggradation“. This feel-good song, riding the future while facing drama and tribulation, I felt the theme of hope and successive changes. And that message continued with the performance of the three. A great pickup song if needed for your playlist. Next, we go to cute vibes with Ina, Raora, Shiori, and Subaru with “Neko Kabura-Na” by Nekomata Okayu. As a cat lover, I resonate with this song, and it filled up the Moe levels with the audience. I was bobbing my head side to side. It was that infectious. Then transition to the next MC session with Shiori and Ollie. There was one moment that was cut from the stream. There was a bit of scuff in the section in which the two were not appearing on stage. But the two handled it like pros while the tech team was resolving it. The audience was also very supportive and cheered them on regardless of the conditions. That was a moment I’m happy to see in person. The fan supports them even when problems arise. Though Ollie felt pretty bad about it, even though she had no control. So please, send Kureji Ollie lots of love her way. And Ollie, if you are reading this, you have nothing to apologize for. You did amazing! You and Shiori. We, New Yorkers, love you. Keep that in your mind.
Now we bring the vibes with Kronii, Elizabeth, and Ollie with “High Tide” by Moona Hoshinova. This was a strong song. The shine, sense of melancholy, but rising above like the tide. The powerful vocals of the three had the audience kneeling and howling at their performance. I know I was. Like the waves, you just had to ride and navigate them. Next, we go back to high energy with Shiori and Gigi with “III” by Hoshou Marine and Kobo Kaneru. I felt this song was something I would hear in my local bodgea. The pop vibes and trumpet it was another great song to be played in New York. We then head to the last MC session for that night with Myth of Mori, Ina, and Kiara. While it is sad that we were soon approaching the end, we were going to end out in style. The three engaged the fans and let us know that everyone is united in the last moments. So let’s make some memories while we can.
The next part was personally my favorite moment of the night. Mori Calliope with her medley of three songs: “end of life“, “Seeing Stars“, and “Dead on Arrival“. She came on stage playing her sycthe like a guitar. “end of life” is one of my favorite songs from her. The song is about her low points and struggles, but still pushing through. This song got me through many hard times, and I resonated with this deeply. I always play this when I’m sad or down from the stressors in my life, but I know the stars are there. The saxophone, the mood of the night, I screamed when the opening notes of that song played. “Seeing Stars,” the unofficial Persona 3 Reload song. I love Persona 3. She loves Persona 3. The fact that she made a song with Lotus Juice and Shoji Meguro is a dream come true for her. And the song is just a great message. Don’t look back, look forward. Find something to look towards. Like with Persona 3, you have to live your life and burn your dread. Memento Mori. And Dead on Arrival is just a rock-hard song. The rapping reaper is killing it with the lyrics and performance. These songs and her spirit are why her fans and I are proud to be her deadbeats.
The next song we would have Bijou, Raoroa, and Cecelia performing “I’m Your Treasure Box” by Houshou Marine. If you have seen the MV, you know it is VERY suggestive. To hear this song being performed by the three was fan service. The dance and choreography were just wow. Plus, hearing everyone yelling AHOY! It was a moment that we, the fans, enjoyed the fullest. Remember that there is a market for every type of fan. AKERO! Now we have the last duet song of the night. With Mori and Towa, performing their original song “Queen of Night“. This song, I had absolute chills and goosebumps. The powerful vocals of the two and the vibes enraptured me and the audience. The emotions and Spanish lyrics, La Reina De la Noche. I admit it pushed me almost to tears. It was that powerful.
Now we assemble Holo English one last time for the night. They performed “Odyssey” again, but after that song, they performed “Kirameki Rider“. This song is perfect for describing the audience and you. If you are a new fan of Hololive, or if you are a long-time veteran and supporter, anytime is a good place to start and join the fun. Reinforming the mission statement of Cover Corp and Hololive. In the end, it is about bringing happiness and helping you pursue your own dreams. Be it bringing smiles, cheering you up, or just helping you get through the day, it is an optimistic feeling to know they can be your light. The song, and seeing them all together, with the audience, is just a moment you have to be in person. No words can describe that moment.
Before the last song on both nights, they would play a recap of all the concerts that had come before. With all the crowds, alumni talent, highlights, and memories. It is almost nostalgic. Now wrapping the All For One concert, we all sing the main song one more time: “All For One“. Again, everyone, synchronized, and shouting ALL FOR ONE! Everyone in the audience would remember this moment for the rest of their lives. I know I will. And with that final performance and song, the credits roll, and it shows off all of the talents, team, and fan groups that made it all possible. For these two nights, it was simply magical.
In conclusion and reminder, Holive’s All For One Concert is a diamond experience. The unity of the Hololive fans, the talents of all of Hololive English, and the special guest appearance. There is just nothing like it. If you can, do attend both nights to get the full experience. Provided your financial situation allows you to. The amazing song performances. The overwhelming positive energy from the talents and fans. If you are a person who has no idea what Vtubers are or is just curious in general, definitely consider attending one of their concerts if they come by your local area. For me, it was a happy moment and a bright spot in my life. These two nights have become a core memory, and I swear to never forget. I had a rough week before the concert, so this event was a much-needed lift to lift my spirits. Here’s hoping that they come back again next year and celebrate their fourth concert in New York City.
Cover Corporation. Mataoki Tanigo-san. Everyone in Hololive English and everyone involved. Your fans here in New York love you, and we hope to see you again. Arigatou Gozaimasu. Thank you.
