Higround Unveils First BLUR Keyboard

By Josh PiedraJuly 15, 2025
Higround

Higround, a lifestyle and gaming peripheral brand, is introducing one of its most visually ambitious drops to date with the BLUR Keyboard, the first-ever intentionally blurry keyboard. Launching Friday, it takes inspiration from early 3D gaming, where pixelated textures, low-resolution models, and motion blur defined the visual style of a generation.

BLUR

Each keycap features a custom blur treatment that gives the board an out-of-focus, glitched-out appearance—like a paused frame from a retro game. This launch marks the inaugural release of Higround’s 75% keyboard, introducing the highly anticipated F-row keys for enhanced functionality. The BLUR Keyboard still retains all the beloved advantages of our 65% form factor, including hot-swappable, pre-lubed switches and stabilizers. It also incorporates our popular Dampening Plus configuration, ensuring the satisfying sound profile you’ve come to expect from Higround. The BLUR Keyboard is compatible with both Windows and Mac.

“With Blur, we wanted to challenge the expectation of what a keyboard should look like. It’s a visual experiment, a functional piece of art that blurs the line between digital nostalgia and physical design,” said XX at Higround. “This drop reflects our belief that peripherals can be both high-performance tools and design statements.”

The BLUR Keyboard will be available for purchase beginning July 18, 12PM PT. For more information and updates on the release, visit Higround.com.
