Former Nintendo Employees Give Warning To Key Leakers…

As I’ve talked about on the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast many times over the years, one of the most annoying things is when so-called “insiders” and “leakers” attempt to “reveal what’s coming next,” and they have no basis for their claims outside of either lies or “trusting their sources,” whom we can never know. The reason it’s annoying is simple: if they’re right, then they’ve ruined the surprise for many gamers. If they’re wrong, then they’ve done nothing more than get the hopes up for people and then pulled the rug out from under them.

Lately, all the big “leakers” have been posting about the upcoming Nintendo Direct, which we know is happening tomorrow, but the leakers have been posting about the possibility of such a Direct for weeks now. And once it was all but confirmed, they started “leaking” about what games would be shown in it, especially from 3rd parties.

Enter Kit & Krysta, who used to work for The Big N and used their latest episode to weigh in on things, with Kit giving a warning to leakers like SwitchForce, who spearheaded the latest leak movement:

It seems like SwitchForce is pulling a lot of pages out of the Pyoro playbook and we all know what happened to Pyoro. Word of advice for SwitchForce is to be careful. Yes this can be an exciting thing, everyone is on pins and needles for my next update. Until you get that phone call or someone shows up at your door and you disappear.

The ongoing joke about “Nintendo ninjas” is fun for us to say…but they do exist, and they do go after people who try to screw with the company. Pyoro is legit off the internet, and the question is, do you want to be next?
