At PlayStation’s State of Play 2025, Square Enix revealed a remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles. This trailer showcases the best of a remaster that offers enhanced Quality of Life features, which can be turned on and off. If you play on the Enhanced edition, you get fully voiced dialogue as well as the War of the Lions translation.
Of the two hopes that Final Fantasy fans had for today, one of them came true with the remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics. The other one of getting the Final Fantasy IX remake, still has the possibility of becoming a reality with a lot of other showcases this week.
Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles will release on September 30th, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
