Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Andy Gameplay Reveals New Tools

SNK released a Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves gameplay dev match for the upcoming fighter, Andy Bogard. The original secondary protagonist in the series took a backseat, from the right, back in Mark of the Wolves. He makes a cameo in a couple of places during that game. Even though Evo Japan 2025 did have a demo build for him on the floor this year, the real mettle of the stoic Bogard brother didn’t get a chance to shine with his kit against himself.

Andy appears to have some new tools at his disposal. For instance, Andy now has a similar Rakka Zen Kai teleport move as his protégé. In the last round, he’s able to get some distance before he jumps up and disappears in a cloud of smoke. Then, Andy reappears and drops in on his doubleganger to finish him off with a 4-hit normals into a Zan-ei Ken combo. Ninjas are ninja-ing.

There is no word on the limitations of what it can actually do or how the start-up is progressing so far. It’s not as cool as his Real Bout EX Andy teleport shadow step, but it seems to be effective enough to use.

Andy did have some harsh words for his opponent. Andy’s theme is also present, which is a rendition of his Fatal Fury 2 theme – Pasta (yes, that’s the song’s real name). His story is yet to be revealed, along with his official release date, but Andy is expected to arrive this summer as the first DLC for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Check out our review of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
