It’s fair to say that Fantastic Four First Steps will be one of the most important films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some time. Deadpool & Wolverine was a billion-dollar maker, but it wasn’t TECHNICALLY in the MCU. Thunderbolts was received well, but hardly shattered box-office records. Plus, with the two upcoming Avengers films being delayed, this movie is more important than ever, so that fans can “keep the faith” in Marvel Studios. Today, a new trailer dropped to highlight the fact that tickets for the film are available to buy now.
While we do get some repeat footage, we also get some new stuff, including more on the “family dynamic” that the characters have. Fantastic Four First Steps is truly harping on the fact that this is about them versus the greatest threat their world has ever faced, and if they do make it through…it’s because they have each other to lean on.
