FromSoftware has released a new patch for Elden Ring Nightreign, bringing several important bug fixes aimed at improving the experience for the game’s rapidly growing community. With over 3.5 million copies of the expansion already sold, players have been diving deep into Nightreign’s dark, demanding new content, and this latest update ensures that the journey is just a little smoother.
Patch version 1.01.2 (Regulation Ver 1.01.3), now live, addresses a series of gameplay and stability issues that had been affecting players since launch. One of the most notable fixes targets a bug where applying the “Add (Magic/Lightning/Holy) to Weapon” passive effect to bows caused physical attack power to spike far beyond its intended values. This correction should help restore balance to ranged builds.
Here’s the full change log of updates:
- Fixed a bug where the Passive Effect “Add (Magic/Lightning/Holy) to Weapon”, when applied to a Bow, made the Physical attack power higher than expected.
- Fixed a bug where some non-direct attacks of specific weapons’ skills would inflict the attribute attack power and status ailment of the weapon.
- Fixed a bug where weapons with the “Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced” Passive Effect were not included in the loot pool of chests and felled enemies.
- Fixed a bug where the Demon Merchant would not appear when some conditions were met during the Personal Objective “Find the Demon Merchant in Limveld” of Guardian’s Remembrance.
- Fixed a bug where Libra, Creature of Night, would repeatedly perform some actions.
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to become unstable under some circumstances during the battle against Adel, Baron of Night.
- Fixed a bug where it was not possible to rescue a player who was near death after being grabbed by Wormface’s grab attack.
FromSoftware notes that while this update tackles several key bugs, the team is aware of other related issues and is continuing work to resolve them in future patches.
With a player base millions strong and growing, the polish and balance of Elden Ring Nightreign remains a high priority for both the developers and the passionate community. This latest patch is a welcome step in that ongoing process, which also includes adding support for two players instead of three, not to mention the upcoming DLC that FromSoftware hasn’t mentioned yet, but is definitely coming.
