With just two weeks to go before the release of the Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows DLC, which adds a new area and two new characters, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have released the first gameplay trailer for the Scholar Nightfarer.
As shown in the trailer, the Scholar appears capable in close combat and also wields offensive magic. He can enhance himself and support teammates with powerful buffs.
The Scholar is one of two new characters included in the expansion, joining the Undertaker. We still do not know much about the latter, but more details will likely arrive either by the end of the week or early next week.
The DLC also introduces The Great Hollow, a massive cavern deep within Limveld. It features exotic ruins, ancient temples, sacred towers left behind by long forgotten civilizations, and crystal formations that emit a cursed miasma capable of draining life.
The Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows DLC launches on December 4th, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
