EA Reveals Details Of Battlefield 6’s PC Version

By Jordan AndowAugust 28, 2025
Battlefield 6

Are you looking forward to Battlefield 6? Of course you are—just like me! And if, like me, you plan to play EA‘s next first-person shooter on PC, then this is the article you’ve been waiting for.

Earlier today, EA revealed tons of details about the PC version of Battlefield 6. If you played either of the recent open betas, then you’ve already gotten a glimpse of the game’s capabilities on PC. However, thanks to a new trailer, you can now see full confirmation of everything that will be available in Battlefield 6 on PC.

If you don’t have time to watch the trailer, here’s a list of what you can expect in Battlefield 6 on PC:

If you don’t have time to watch the trailer, then here is a list of what you can expect in Battlefield 6 on PC:

  • 4K Graphics + Uncapped Framerate
  • 4K visuals with uncapped framerates deliver one of the most fluid, high-performance First-Person Shooter experiences available.
  • 600+ Customization Options on PC
    • A comprehensive menu of graphical and performance settings that includes:
      • HDR
      • HUD, HUD Scaling, HUD Icons & Crosshair
      • Camera Settings
      • Controllers, Controller Schemes, Input devices, Haptics
      • Streamer mode & Incognito mode
    • Ultrawide Monitor Support
    • Catch every enemy flank with a full view of the battlefield, now with Ultrawide monitor support.
    • Javelin Anticheat
    • Javelin has been built from the ground up by a team of veteran engineers and analysts focused on studying cheating problems for each specific game under EA’s umbrella and designing unique features to solve those issues. Javelin is already part of other Battlefield titles, including Battlefield Labs, and will be integrated into Battlefield 6 when the game launches.
    • Nvidia DLSS 4, Intel XeSS 2, and AMD FSR 4 Support

Everything you’d expect to see from a modern AAA title on PC seems to be present and accounted for here—so good job to the developers on that.

Of course, the PC version of Battlefield 6 also comes with access to Portal Mode. We don’t know much about Portal Mode yet, but I’m very excited for it. Battlefield 6‘s Portal Mode is a massive sandbox where players can move, scale, and duplicate objects. It almost sounds like the iconic Halo Forge, which allowed players to create their own maps and content to keep them entertained for years after release. I’m really hoping that Battlefield 6‘s Portal can achieve something similar, as it will only help the title’s longevity—something many games struggle to maintain these days.

Battlefield 6 is launching on October 10th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store).

Jordan has been playing games since the age of six. This ignited a passion which initially led him towards game development before trying his hand in the realm of games media, starting in 2022. It turns out he's quite good at it, even if he doesn't always believe in himself. Now, just a few short years later, not only is Jordan a valued member of our staff here at The Outerhaven, but he also co-owns and helps to run Analog Stick Gaming.
