One of the remasters I was looking forward to the most, Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered, has gotten some bad news. It is not going to be released on the date it was initially slated for, March 19th, 2026. Koei Tecmo America has posted a new update on the game.
The release date of “DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered”
(PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam®)
previously set for March 19th, 2026 has been changed.
The new release date will be announced at a later time.#DW3Remasterd… pic.twitter.com/z170DY3Gbk

Note: Koei Tecmo America posted a response to include that it is also still coming to Xbox Series X|S as well.
Sadly, it looks like Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered will be delayed for a future date. Also, there is no actual date given for the delay. It is currently delayed indefinitely until Koei Tecmo gives a new release date. However, they delayed it to polish it and have it be a good quality release for when it is finished, so I can’t be too angry.
I hope it is as good as Dynasty Warriors Origins was at release. When I played through the base game of that, I was very impressed by its performance. That is the bar right now for Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered when it comes to performance and optimization.
When Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered does come out, it is slated to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
