Skybound Games and developer Quarter Up have added Dupli-Kate to the Invincible VS roster, not long after the Power Plex reveal. The character was unveiled yesterday in her own trailer. Kate brings three or so clones into battle, family curse be damned.
She looks impressive for a standard martial artist, with what appears to be Wing Chun-inspired moves in her kit. Strong mix-up potential with this one. She even makes a timely Michelle Yeoh reference, a nice touch for a martial arts character.
Dupli-Kate has the ability to make multiple copies of herself and reabsorb them at will, powers that derive from a centuries-old family curse. Taken in by the government as a child and trained as a one-woman army, Kate eventually used her martial arts prowess to become a superhero, first as a member of Teen Team and then on the Guardians of the Globe.
Dupli-Kate doesn’t appear to have any projectiles for space control, but compensates with a lot of close-range specials. Her clone mechanic gives her a summoner feel.
Youtuber, Rooflemonger, dug deeper into her abilities. The clones are tied to Kate directly, so damage they take is shared with her. However, if a clone returns, Kate recovers whatever health that clone absorbed. She also has an install super that buys extra air-time to extend combos.
Dupli-Kate brings the roster to 15 characters, with potentially three more slots remaining for the base game. Invincible VS releases April 30, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
