Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Adds Shallot From Legends Series

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero was a huge hit when it dropped last year, and it’s clear that Bandai Namco is keeping the game rolling by adding lots of DLC characters to the mix over time. Some have already arrived, and others are just getting announced. Everyone was shocked today with the reveal of Shallot from the Dragon Ball Legends canon. I won’t dive too far into it, as you only really need to know that he’s another Saiyan in the ranks, but his being in the game is a pretty cool acknowledgement of the series itself.

It proves once again that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is here to honor all parts of the lore, even ones that many don’t overtly know about. Check out his reveal trailer below.

…but…there was another reason that I personally wanted to write this article. And that’s because while Shallot may be a “niche character” in the main lore, he’s had a starring role in another universe you may have heard about. The DAU. You know, the DevilArtemis Universe? For those unaware, this is a YouTube Channel run by the animator known as DevilArtemis. It’s basically a parody of the Dragon Ball universe mixed with all sorts of multiversal shenanigans, and I do love it so much.

Not to mention, DevilArtemis is one of the main animators for Death Battle and has helped create many classic episodes. To see Shallot in action in the DAU, check out the videos below:
