Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Is Available Right Now

If you are a giant Dragon Ball fan like I am, every new game is an interesting thing to see that comes out from Bandai Namco. One could be a big-budget arena fighters that bring the old Tenkaichi formula back like Sparking Zero. Another could be a Dead by Daylight inspired title like Dragon Ball: The Breakers. This newest one is a bit more like the latter, an inspired title coated with a Dragon Ball Skin, Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra.

Bandai Namco describes Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra as a 4vs4 real-time strategy game. If I were to describe it to you, I would call it a Pokémon Unite inspired title. It has you collecting Dragon Balls, and you combat the enemy team. It is from a top-down view, and you select your moves as they come off cooldown to launch a massive attack. It is built as a mobile game, but it is available to play all over. You can play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, on mobile devices (iOS, and Android), and on PC.

I will be trying it out for myself, but at least it gives fans of the series more games to try. If you do like this system of a game, it is worth checking out Pokémon Unite, too. Not only is the game out now, but the five new characters are available to play with as well.
