Dojo Masters Season Two Expansion Brings Three New Martial Arts This August

If you’ve yet to see it, Dojo Masters, an indie fighting game that reminds me of Karateka on steroids, is stepping back into the ring with a Second Season of content that’s sure to shake up the fight scene. The upcoming Expansion Pack is set to drop on August 21st, 2025, and it’s bringing some serious heat for both veterans and newcomers to the dojo.

This latest update expands the game’s martial arts roster with three distinctive fighting styles, each offering its own unique flair and strategic depth. These include Sumo, Kyokushin Karate, and for all you fans of Eddy Gordo and Elena, Capoeira.

  • Sumo enters the arena with raw strength and unmatched ring control, perfect for those who prefer to dominate with sheer power.
  • Kyokushin Karate delivers devastating strikes rooted in discipline and precision, rewarding players who master timing and technique.
  • Capoeira is for those who like to mix acrobatics with rhythm, spinning your way into the fight, blending dance-like movement with unpredictable attacks that can catch any opponent off guard.

With the addition of these fighting styles, it brings the two number of styles to nine, which includes Kendo, Boxing, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Shotokan Karate, and Taekwondo.

If you've yet to see it, Dojo Masters is getting a Second Season of content. Expansion Pack (DLC) Dropping on Aug 21st. #FGC #indiegame

Pixel Vision, the developers of Dojo Masters, have promised more than just new movesets and players can expect new stages, updated training modes, and balance tweaks to keep the competition fierce.  Dojo Masters Season Two might just be the perfect time to step into the dojo and prove your worth.

Dojo Masters is an easy-to-pick-up fighting game thanks to its simple two-button control scheme, which is a welcome change compared to other fighters that have you juggling five or more buttons. But don’t let that simplicity fool you; mastering the game is another story entirely. Neutral play, footsies, and smart strategy are still essential if you want to come out on top.

And if you haven’t played Dojo Masters yet, there’s a demo of the game that you can play on the developer’s website. It’s the perfect way to test your skills and see if you have what it takes to become a master of the dojo.
