Digimon Story Time Stranger Gets First DLC This December With New Megas and Questline

Listen up, Digimon Story Time Stranger fans, Christmas is coming early. The beloved RPG, praised by both longtime veterans and newcomers, is officially getting its first DLC, and it’s arriving sooner than expected: December 8, 2025.

The Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 1: Alternate Dimension DLC will add a number of new Digivolution routes, which include the following:
  • BlitzGreymon
  • CresGarurumon
  • Omnimon Zwart Defeat
  • Omnimon Alter-B

Alongside the new evolutions, this DLC introduces a special questline that ties together encounters across time and space, offering fresh narrative beats for players who thought they’d seen everything that was available for the base game.

This DLC will be available to players who previously purchased the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the game, and it can also be purchased separately or through the Season Pass. And this is just the first piece of DLC coming to the game, with two more planned later in 2026.

In our Digimon Story Time Stranger review we praised the game in our review for its strong character writing, rewarding battle system, and its ability to welcome newcomers without sacrificing the depth longtime fans expect. This DLC looks to build on that foundation, adding even more ways to evolve your party and explore the game’s multiverse-driven lore.

Digimon Story Time Stranger is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
