During the Nintendo Indie World Showcase that took place on March 3rd, 2026, the release date for that train car rail surfing title, Denshattack! was revealed, and it will be released on June 17, 2026, for the Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
In addition to the release date, a demo for the Nintendo Switch 2 has also been released and will feature the first four stages of the game. So, if you’ve been interested in checking out the game, now’s your chance.

Recently, there was a demo of Denshattack! that was playable during the recent Steam Next Fest, and being someone who couldn’t wait to get my hands on the game, I gave it a try. Needless to say, I found it very amazing, fast paced and damn, is that soundtrack popping.
Set in a dystopian future where the ultra-rich have sequestered themselves into impenetrable air-purifying domes, those left in the wasteland have rebuilt the world under gang rule. As Emi, you will face rival gangs, collect upgrades and climb the ranks to become the best in Japan. Denshattack! combines the rebellious spirit of skateboarding with the rich culture of Japan into a runaway thrill ride you won’t want to put down.
Easy to play, and those tricks transported me back to when I first played Tony Hawk Pro Skater on the original PlayStation. I’m definitely looking forward to playing the full version of Denshattack! I’m completely sold.
