Alright PC gamers, your wait is finally over. While Death Stranding 2: on the Beach was not available on PC at launch, the February 2026 State of Play confirmed that the game is officially heading to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 16, 2026. Even better, this will not be a bare-bones port, thanks to Nixxes being involved with the PC version.
Death Stranding 2 on PC will support Ultrawide monitors, including 21:9 for both gameplay and in-game cutscenes, along with 32:9 Super Ultrawide support on PC. And yes, that is all running in 4K resolution. If you have invested in a high-end display, this version is clearly designed to take full advantage of it.
The PC edition also delivers the flexibility players expect. Full mouse and keyboard support with customizable keybinds allows for complete control over how the game plays. Prefer a controller? Full DualSense integration is included, featuring haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support to preserve that tactile experience, though a wired connection will be required to access those features.
Audio support is equally impressive. Players can take advantage of 3D Audio through Dolby Access, DTS Sound Unbound, or Windows Sonic for Headphones, offering multiple ways to experience the game’s signature atmosphere.
I do not know about you, but it has been tough not diving into this gem on PlayStation 5. Despite owning it, the only people who have really played it in my house are my kids. That changes soon. I am more than ready to fully jump in when Death Stranding 2 hits PC on March 16, 2026.
