The year…was 2023, and Death Battle hosted its “Tournament of Champions.” The goal was simple: to do a bracket-style event where fans would choose a fight that would 100% get made by the team. The winner was one that no one could’ve seen coming going into the fight. Now, in 2025, after many episodes (and a near-death experience that was avoided thanks to a Kickstarter…) Wile E Coyote vs Tom Cat has FINALLY arrived for fans to enjoy. As a fan of both characters…yeah, it’s pretty peak.
Now, before you start having Scooby vs. Courage flashbacks, I will spoil this a little and say that this battle does NOT end in a tie! For real. The team goes deep into both sides’ lore (including in places you wouldn’t have expected…) and was able to figure out the truth and declare a winner. Plus, Luis Cruz absolutely rocked the hand-drawn animation, so between that and the classic-style battle music, this will feel just like an episode of Looney Tunes or Tom & Jerry.
