Dead or Alive 6: Last Round Supports Save Transfers, Skips Crossplay and Upgrade Path

Dead or Alive 6 - punch to the face is all it takes

Koei Tecmo revealed some more details about Dead Or Alive 6 Last Round since is reveal during the PlayStation State of Play last week.

For instance, the good news is that certain aspects can be brought to the game from save files from the previous title. DLC costumes, game progression, most save data, and unlocked in-game items like costumes, glasses and hairstyles, are good to go for this. The Dead or Alive community has asked this of Koei Tecmo in an email and they responded.

According to KT support from an inquiry by @ranzzinza, it's been confirmed that there will be no update DLC provided for #DOA6 to #DOA6LR. Additionally, Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond will not be returning in LR and their DOA6 character DLC keys won't carry over. pic.twitter.com/n92HIjG4Y6

Dead Or Alive 6 Last Round will not support crossplay, and will be a digital-only release, according to the product page. This is not an upgrade, so it needs to be bought separately. The definite concern would be if there is Rollback Netcode support. This was yet to be revealed by Koei Tecmo as a feature.

The traditional Core Fighters limited version will host Kasumi, Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO, this time. More features, costumes, and characters, will be released over time for the title.

Dead or Alive 6: Last Round will be released on June 25, 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
