It was announced that The Protector Vol. 2, the next installment of the dark fantasy Original English Light Novel series written by Trent Moullae and illustrated by Miraj Samee, will be released on September 25! The book continues the journey of its main characters, Zane and Yulia, as they approach their new lives.
Yulia Edrea is the heir of one of the world’s largest corporations, and the second volume will dive deeper into her machinations. As the master and protector of Zane, they will navigate through new challenges with newfound companions, some of whom will have their trust come into question.
The Protector is an Original English Light Novel (OELN), which offers a unique format in a genre that has continued to grow and expand throughout the years. Original English Light Novels have drawn enough attention for publishing companies such as Vic’s Lab to establish themselves as an avenue for independent authors to publish their works. Last year, KADOKAWA CORPORATION began researching OELNs as the next source of material to adapt into manga.
OELNs are inspired by Japanese light novels and are a one-of-a-kind entertainment medium that brings the style admired by otakus around the world into a new light.
The Protector Vol. 2 will be available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook on several platforms, including Amazon, Google Play, Apple iBooks, Amazon Kindle, and more. The audiobook version is still in production and will be released at a later date. The Protector Vol. 2 will retail for $16.00 USD for paperback and $1.99 USD for the ebook.
