Crunchyroll Is Gearing Up For The Holidays In Style

By Richard HeatonOctober 24, 2025
Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll has been going full force for the Holidays! In addition to their programming slate for the Fall 2025 anime season, Crunchyroll launched an exclusive Collab with Olympic champion Noah Lyles and released their new manga app during New York Comic Con. Even with those events behind them, Crunchyroll showed no signs of slowing down and turned its attention towards the holiday shopping season to be on the front lines of gift-giving. We sat down with Crunchyroll’s Senior Vice President of E-commerce, Kristin Hamilton, to discuss why Crunchyroll is the premier destination for all things anime.

The Crunchyroll store has a diverse offering of gift ideas from anime, manga, and merch based on your favorite series. With so much to choose from, it can sometimes be overwhelming when looking for a gift that a specific friend or family member might enjoy. That’s why their annual gift guide features 40 hand-selected items across a variety of categories to narrow down the options.
Kristin Hamilton commented on how items are selected:
“We have a great team that curates the list. We look at what the top shows are, and what the best items would be. We make sure it includes different categories, price points, and interests.”
One such item is the Solo Leveling Collectors Omnibus, which is a personal recommendation of Hamilton. The Omnibus collects volumes one through eight with a glow-in-the-dark cover. Another gift that Crunchyroll was eager to show off was a limited edition Demon Slayer jacket from Dim Mak, featuring Nezuko.
“We’re really excited for the holiday season,” said Hamilton. “Shoppers might not know where to go and Grandma might not know what to get for Christmas. The guide narrows it down and helps them pick by show, interest, and price point.”
The gift guide includes an assortment of manga, Blu-rays, vinyl records, art books, figures, apparel, and more from across Crunchyroll’s vast merch collection. While not appearing on the gift guide, another holiday option is the newest apparel from the recent Noah Lyles collaboration. The Collab was announced just last month and was featured as part of the Crunchyroll showcase at New York Comic Con.
“It’s a really exciting moment for us,” said Hamilton on the Noah Lyles collaboration. “He talks about anime after races and the way he dyes his hair, he brings so much energy and passion to the Collab.”
The Noah Lyles collection includes Speedline Saga t-shirt, Poster t-shirt, Speedline Saga hat, and Crunch Mode hoodie, and is the latest in a long line of cross-cultural collabs spearheaded by Crunchyroll. Over the past year, Crunchyroll collaborated with wrestler Mercedes Moné, singer Ado, Under Armour, and the NBA.

“We’re always looking for the next big partnership that can bridge the gap between cultures. It’s never just anime, but sports, music, and gaming too.”
With all the different projects that Crunchyroll has been working on these past few months, there was one concern. Earlier this month, Crunchyroll launched its official manga app. For a few extra dollars per month, Crunchyroll subscribers can read many of their favorite manga series digitally. This includes fan favorites like Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, My Dress-Up Darling, One Piece, and many more. For a brief while, there was a fear that giving readers access to hundreds of volumes of digital manga would slow down the market for physical manga. Hamilton didn’t believe that was the case.
“Consumers will always want to hold the book in their hand. They might read the manga in the all, but they might continue to purchase the physical books for the art of for their collections. The manga app also connects back to the store. So if they liked what they read, they can buy a physical copy.”
So, if you have an anime fan on your Christmas shopping list this year, make sure to check out Crunchyroll’s store this Holiday season to find the perfect gift to make their season as memorable as possible!
