Could The Nintendo Switch 2 Get Dragon Ball Sparking Zero?

In the end...I am gonna...SWITCH!!!!
By Todd BlackMarch 15, 2025
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

As we discussed recently on the latest episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast, 3rd party support for the Nintendo Switch 2 is inevitable. The only real question is, “Who will do the most for the upcoming platform?” After all, some people think the Switch 2’s launch could be the biggest in gaming history, so 3rd parties having big-name titles on the system at launch or near launch will all but guarantee them sales. To that end, one industry insider claims Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will be a title Switch 2 fans can look forward to.

The rumor comes from eXtas1s, who made a video about various things before concluding that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will be on the Nintendo Switch 2. While he’s claiming his own sources for the statement, it’s not a stretch to think the game would be coming to the new platform.

First and foremost, Nintendo and Bandai Namco have a great relationship, and with Sparking Zero doing incredibly well on other platforms, it’s fair to think that Bandai Namco would want to continue that success by putting it on another platform. Plus, if the Switch 2 is able to handle the graphics and internet, it could make the “preferred platform” to play it on due to its mobility. Not to mention, other gaming entries from the series are on Switch right now.

The April 2nd Nintendo Direct should reveal plenty of answers for gamers. Less than three weeks remain until it drops!
