Control Resonant revealed during The Game Awards

While we knew that Remedy is hard at work on a new Control game, the company took to The Game Awards to reveal that game, and it wasn’t what we thought it was. Control Resonant, was revealed during the event, with iconic characters and the Oldest House making an appearance.

However, this time around we’ll be playing as Dylan Faden, Prime Candidate 6 (P6) who is a powerful paranatural, and the brother of Jessie Faden, the protagonist of the original Control game. And from what we’ve seen during the reveal, the game is just as supernatural as hell as the first, with plenty of action. This just dropped into our most anticipated games of 2026, because we didn’t even know that this game was dropping in 2026, but this is a nice surprise.

Check out the trailer.

Control Resonant will launch in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. As for the PC part, we currently don’t know if this will be yet another Epic Game Store exclusive, but for the sake of the game, we really hope it isn’t.
