Capcom Wants to Know Which Games it Should Revisit Next

Capcom Super Elections wants to know.
By Keith MitchellFebruary 6, 2024
Capcom Super Election 1000x563

As of late, Capcom has been on a roll when it comes to remaking its prior games, and we, as gamers, have been eating it up. However, most of these remakes have been that of a Resident Evil persuasion, and many of us have been asking Capcom if we can get a different flavor. Now, it seems that Capcom is possibly willing to listen to us.

Thanks to Twitter user @aesthetics_re / RE Engine Aesthetics, we caught word that Capcom has this massive website called “Capcom’s Super Elections” where you, the gamers, can sign up and go through various questions that range from your favorite Capcom character, favorite game,  and what you expect of Capcom, among other things. However, the eye-opener is once you get to question 5, which asks, “Are there any Capcom game series we’d like to see a sequel or a new game of.” The kicker here is there are games we haven’t seen in ages, and frankly, some of these games I’d personally love to see.

A few games are Darkstalkers, Dead Rising, Dino Crisis, Final Fight, Breath of Fire, Lost Planet, and others.  Of course, seeing any of these games being touched again, such as Darkstalkers, is possibly a pipe dream, but seeing that Capcom is at least asking gives me some hope. I know a certain person has been trying to will a remake of Dino Crisis into existence for years, maybe decades.

So, if you’ve been complaining that Capcom has this rich back catalog of games they should be revisiting, then perhaps you should let Capcom know by voting in this poll. And if you don’t, think… your vote could have been a deciding factor.
