In an era where intellectual properties are seeking to be placed on as many streaming services as possible, Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta), isn’t quite ready to go wide just yet. It was announced that the second season of the 2022 hit anime series will be streaming exclusively on HIDIVE starting this July. The only pertains to viewers outside of Japan.
John Ledford, President of HIDIVE commented:
“We’re excited to present the highly anticipated sequel season of Call of the Night to fans this July as part of our upcoming Summer 2025 simulcast season. This stand-out supernatural romance drama with its human/vampire love story has captured the hearts of audiences everywhere and was an overnight fan favorite when Season 1 premiered in 2022.”
The exact premiere date for Call of the Night Season 2 has yet to be revealed.
