Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Closed Beta Is Finally Here for Western Players

By Keith MitchellJuly 24, 2025
Blue Protocol Star Resonance Sign-ups are live

Ever since Bandai Namco revealed its anime-inspired MMORPG, Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, fans have been eager to know when the English version would be playable. That day is finally on the horizon! The studio has officially opened sign-ups for the game’s first Closed Beta Test, giving players in North America, South America, and Europe a chance to experience this highly anticipated title

To apply for a spot in the test, players need to fill out the CBT Recruitment Survey on the official Blue Protocol: Star Resonance website. Only one entry is allowed per account; you’ll need access to Discord, and the selection will be randomized based on the survey responses. And of course, there’s no guarantee of acceptance, so applying early is recommended, as is crossing your fingers.

The Closed Beta Test begins on July 24, 2025, and interested players can apply between now and August 14. This test is limited in scope, meaning only a select number of participants will be chosen. Those who are selected will be notified between August 15 and August 20, so it’s important to provide accurate contact information during the application process.

This beta will not carry over progress, as all data will be wiped once the testing period ends. Players will be allowed to make in-game purchases during the beta, and any money spent will be converted into in-game currency at launch through a rebate system. Specific details on the rebate rate can be found on the game’s official recruitment page.

Here are the PC requirements, so you can ensure you’ll be able to play the game, either via the beta or the official game release.
