Blade vs Buffy Brings Live-Action Slaying To Death Battle

Slay King...and Queen!

Blade vs Buffy, Death Battle

Personally, I love it when Death Battle brings out a matchup that you “didn’t expect,” but when you dive into it, you see all the connections and want to see them clash. When the DB Kickstarter happened last year (can you believe it’s been over a year since the show came back?), they promised at a certain point that we’d get another live-action fight from the team at Ismahawk, who did Nightwing/Daredevil and Red Hood/Winter Soldier previously. The question was, who would they do next? The answer was Blade vs Buffy! And yeah, it was worth the “hiatus” between episodes.

Both of these characters are iconic, but you might not fully understand the lore that is involved here. To that end, Death Battle does a great job showing you how great Blade and Buffy are in both their live-action, comic, and even novel forms! Yeah, Buffy has a LOT of novels written about her…it’s truly shocking.

As for the live-action fight, it’s the longest of its kind, and Ismahawk totally crushed it. Check out Blade vs Buffy below!

And next time on Death Battle…it’s the return of Dante from Devil May Cry…versus Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI! Things will get…heated. See you next time!
