The Best Fighting Game Deals in the Steam Summer Sale 2025

The Steam Summer Sale is here, and if you’re into fighters, whether you’re throwing fireballs, unleashing Heat Attacks, or flailing crabs, yes, that’s actually a thing, some serious steals are waiting for you right now.

Here’s our updated mix of AAA, AA, and indie brawlers worth snagging before the sale ends on July 10. Discounts are listed after each title for a quick scan, followed by current prices.

  • Dragon Ball FighterZ (84% off) – $9.59: A fast-paced 3v3 anime fighter with razor-sharp mechanics and explosive visuals. The fact that this game is so dang cheap is bonkers.
Tekken 8 (50% off) – $29.99: Powered by Unreal Engine 5, this sequel brings next‑gen visuals, an aggressive Heat system, and top-tier cross‑play—all for half the original asking price.
  • Street Fighter 6 (20% off) – $39.99:  Capcom’s latest fighter is polished, packed with content, and the best price I’ve seen the game listed for in months.

  • Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO (30% off) – $48.99: This is the ultimate Budokai-tenkaichi-style brawler with 180+ fighters and destructible environments. Dragon Ball fans, do NOT miss out on this game!
  • Guilty Gear Strive (50% off) – $19.99: Lush anime visuals, razor-sharp play, and rollback netcode. What more can Guilty Gear fans ask for?
  • Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics (40% off) – $29.99:  Classic tag-brawls like MvC2 and X‑Men vs. SF, polished up with rollback netcode.

  • Rivals of Aether (50% off) – $14.99: A competitive Smash-style platform fighter with elemental passion and serious depth.
  • Pocket Bravery (20% off) – $15.99: Retro pixel art, tight combos, and a brash attitude. It’s small, but mighty.
  • Fight Crab (30% off) – $7.99: Giant crabs, melee weapons, utter chaos. Whoever thought this game up needs both a raise and maybe some help.

Our Recommendations

If you’re tempted by all these fighting games on sale during the Steam Summer Sale, but your bank account is low on funds, we recommend the following titles, in no particular order.

  1. Dragon Ball FighterZ
  2. Tekken 8 (Review)
  3. Guilty Gear Strive
  4. Marvel vs. Capcom Collection (Review)
  5. Rivals of Aether

That wraps up The Outerhaven’s Steam Summer Sale Fighting Game recommendations. Be sure to jump on any or all of these titles, as the sale will be over as of July 10, 2025, 10  AM PDT / 1 PM EDT.
