We are mere days away from the release of EA’s hotly anticipated first-person shooter, Battlefield 6 (BF6). It is a game that players hope will mark a return to form for this beloved franchise. Battlefield Studios has now revealed the first batch of post-launch support for BF6, with Season 1 starting on October 28th, 2025, just a few weeks after the game releases on October 10th, 2025.
So what exactly is included in Season 1 of Battlefield 6? Take a look at the roadmap below:
As you can see, Season 1 consists of three phases. It begins on October 28th with Rogue Ops, followed by California Resistance and Winter Offensive on November 18th, 2025, and December 6th, 2025, respectively.
Each phase will introduce new maps, weapons, modes, and more. Phase One will feature a new game mode called Strikepoint, which is designed for 4v4 encounters where players have one life per round and an objective to capture. Personally, this sounds very interesting to me as someone who enjoys smaller tactical battles just as much as the grand-scale warfare that the Battlefield franchise is known for.

Battlefield 6 is launching on October 10th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store).
