By Josh PiedraJune 1, 2025

Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. which operates its music business primarily through record labels, is launching a new label called UNIERA.

uniera

This new label aims to bring out the unique qualities of artists, from emerging talents to seasoned creators, across a range of genres and styles. A combination of the words “Unique” and “Era,” UNIERA seeks to spark a new wave for the next generation. With music at its core, it will embrace diverse cultural touch points such as anime, fashion, and toys, expanding its reach in Japan and overseas while offering a space for free expression and new creative possibilities for all artists seeking new challenges.

The first four artists to join UNIERA have been announced: LINKL PLANET, an idol group promoting plastic models worldwide; INUWASI, a powerhouse live idol group that sold out at KT Zepp Yokohama in a solo concert this March; majiko, who has over 200 million streams across Asia; and Daoko, known for the hit “Uchiage Hanabi” with Kenshi Yonezu, which has topped 600 million views on YouTube. All four are distinctive talents expected to help shape the future music scene.

UNIERA will continue to welcome a wide range of artists seeking new challenges. Stay tuned for more from this new label and its rising roster.
