Avatar Seven Havens Gets First Image, Teaser Coming At SDCC

A beautiful start to a new adventure!

Avatar Seven Havens

As a fan of Avatar The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, I was always hoping that the franchise would return someday, somehow. I even wrote a fanfic once upon a time about what I thought the “next Avatar could be like.” After the creation of Avatar Studios, the franchise’s original creators promised that something new would be coming, and it would arrive in the form of Avatar Seven Havens. Today, we got both the first image of the new series, which you can see above, and an announcement of when we’ll learn more about the show: San Diego Comic Con.

A special 20th anniversary panel is happening at SDCC, and it’ll feature much of the voice cast returning to talk about the show’s impact, while also giving a teaser of what Avatar Seven Havens will look like:

“20 Years. 4 Elements. 1 Avatar. Nickelodeon is celebrating Avatar: The Last Airbender’s 20th anniversary with a panel that will take fans on a special journey through the legacy of the Avatar-verse. Join original voice cast members Zach Tyler Eisen (Aang), Jack DeSena (Sokka), Michaela Jill Murphy (Toph), Jennie Kwan (Suki), Dante Basco (Zuko) and Dee Bradley Baker (Appa), series composer Jeremy Zuckerman, and creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, as they celebrate one of the most beloved animated series of all time. Moderated by: Janet Varney (the voice of Korra). Yip Yip!”

The new series may arrive in 2027. Hopefully, this new series will give us more details on when and where we can experience it.
