Sketches of the earth bending Melon Lord – Toph – has been seen from the Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Twitter/X account.
With her trailer out in the wild, and a new beta now done, Toph’s got her break down locked. With Katara, Aang, Kora, and Zukko, Azula, and Sokka, a part of the roster, it’s fitting to see blind little Toph jump in for the Earth Bending side of the game.
Toph is a pretty restricted with the movement compared to other characters. There’s a lot of strength in her run, though. This helps heaps with her toolset. Toph has some huge range for normals and other attacks. Toph’s backflow can draw opponents in for the setups. Toph’s less sticks and more stones. This is especially true for the distance. The Seismic Search always gets characters when they touch the ground. Her best option to get in a juggle.
With Toph’s inclusion also comes The Boulder’s assist. Mick Foley hasn’t been confirmed to be returning to voice him if he does get his voice in. The Boulder gives out some super armor on flow moves. Her stances get hyper armor. The badger mole gives her that special taller pillar.
Toph came in with the latest playtest which threw in some new stages such as the Fire Nation Palace. Rooflemonger got in some notes on the character from the last build. With the Training Mode on, labbing Toph seems to be easier than betas would have us ever expect.
Avatar Legends will arrive in Summer 2026 on PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox Series X | S, Switch 2, and Steam.
