Armor Legend Samurai Troopers Receives New Anime in January After Nearly 40 Years

In an announcement that nobody saw coming, it was announced that the classic anime series, Armor Legend Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors), will be returning to television after a nearly 40-year absence; however, this isn’t a re-airing, but a brand-new anime project!

The new anime will be titled Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers.

The initial staff and cast were announced as follows:

Staff

  • Director: Yoichi Fujita
  • Composition: Shogo Muto
  • Character Designs: Yuhei Murota
  • Armor Designer: Hideo Okamoto

Cast

  • Hiiro Ishibashi as Gai
