It’s Wednesday and you know what that means. AEW is back with a special 3-hour September to Remember show. This is the final stop until AEW ALL OUT this Saturday. With that in mind, let’s get right into our AEW September to Remember Recap!!
As you can see, this card was absolutely stacked!
It was interesting to see that Robyn Renegade was in the beginning intro. Could this mean that she has a bigger role in the near future? We started off with the contract signing between Hangman Page and Kyle Fletcher. As Kyle was walking to the ring, Hanger looked like he was proud of him. Don was such a heat magnet. Page really wanted him to break away from the Don Callis Family. He also has an ace up his sleeve. He added a contract stipulation that if DCF interfered with the match, Kyle would also lose the TNT championship. Well played, Hanger. And this will hopefully get rid of all the “overbooked” statements that popped up during Hanger’s last title match (which I thought was great, but whatever…) Both wrestlers made compelling statements. I’m so hyped for this match!
The first match was between Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong. Wow, Roddy came in hot by attacking Danny. And now we see Marina making her presence known by getting in her husband’s way. It must’ve been awkward for Marina to show loyalty to Moxley while at the same time fighting her husband, Roddy. Things are going to be awkward back at the hotel tonight, that’s for sure. Then again, did you see that smile she gave Roddy…?

Being a 3-hour show, TK gave a lot of time to almost every match. Yuta, the human Shit-Tzu, helped Mox bag the win. There was also a slight tease for a future match between Kyle ‘O Reilly and Danny Garcia. That would be a great match for sure!
Backstage, MJF blamed TK for his loss at Forbidden Door. He tried to weasel his way out of the Tables and Tacks stipulation that Mark Briscoe had made for ALL OUT. TK wanted none of it and told him off. I liked how they filmed this segment. It was as if we were eavesdropping on their conversation.
Thank you, TK. #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

The second match was meat vs meat between Toa Liona and Bobby Lashley. Toa displayed dominance early as he performed this move…
Ouch, that Samoan Drop looked nasty. I think Bobby needs a chiropractor after that one.
SIR! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember
— TDE Wrestling (@tdewrestling.com) 2025-09-18T00:44:31.261Z
Toa was too busy showboating to the camera, and Lashey performed an impressive heat-seeking spear. Yeah, that looked awesome. Toa is easily one of the only people in this world who can honestly say he pounced Bobby (and make it look good when he did it). Props to Bobby for getting a win with The Hurt Lock. If this was a sample of what we’re getting, the 3 on 3 this Saturday is going to be amazing! Oh, and MVP KO’d Ricobald…I was so happy…
Next up was the final faceoff between C&C Wrestle Factory and FTR. Uh-oh. The security guards are out in full force. Schiavone mentioned that there would be fines if things went ‘physical’. Copeland reminded FTR that they were the original creators of a match that turned into the name of a PPV. That’s deep. As for FTR, they listed the names of the teams they had legendary matches with…and that included teams from The Fed, which I didn’t expect, and yet, it was their history, so it made sense to honor them. Christian was getting lots of love from the crowd. He mentioned that he doesn’t care about fines because he’s ‘rich’. Cue the ‘security guards’ getting spammed by all of their finishers.
HE'S RICH. #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

Uh oh, it looked like Dax had busted his nose. I must say that it is so awesome to see Christian and Copeland tag team again, back on their own turf. ALL OUT is going to be so special.
Renee caught up to those money marks, the Young Bucks. WTH? Are they just giving away free money now? Send some my way!
Oh, we are BACK. #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

The third match was between the Money Marks vs The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn). This is the first qualifying match for the 4-way tag team ladder championship at ALL OUT. Nick was trying to bribe the referee, Rick Knox, with money. That was hilarious, and a callback to BTE!. I was amazed at how Juice Robinson’s beard could grow out so quickly. It’s like a Chia Pet. After a hard-fought match, the Money Marks advanced to the ladder match by pinning Juice. This 4-way is shaping up nicely.
The fourth match was for the final participant for the AEW Unified Championship 3-way match. Mascara Dorada vs Beast Mortos both slapped! The crowd was involved in it by chanting, “Lucha Libre”. Both of these guys went over 100mph. How is Dorada this good at only 24? I keep thinking to myself that a match between Hologram and Dorada would be fire.
Are you SERIOUS! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

Canadian destroyer…in Canada…
DUDE! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember
— TDE Wrestling (@tdewrestling.com) 2025-09-18T01:39:47.208Z
How many Canadian destroyers could Beast Mortos take? Dorada won with a shooting star press. He will have to face Okada and Takeshita in a 3-way match at ALL OUT. Cinnabon has his eye on destroying Okada. I’m actually pretty hyped to watch this match!
One big happy family. #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

Hey guys, you forgot somebody…
Don't take your eyes off Dorada! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

“Timeless” Toni Storm graced us with a spotlight promo. Toni hinted that this might be the end of her reign. I have a feeling Hayter wins it. After all, HAYTER HITS HARD. I liked how Statlander came into the spotlight just to talk about ovaries.
This flowed well into our next match between Queen Aminata and Thekla. It was a no-holds-barred match, so anything goes. I don’t know if this was a good idea for Thekla to accept this match. She needed to focus her energy on the 4-way women’s championship match at ALL OUT. At the same time, she has done death matches in the past, so Aminata has a disadvantage. Both ladies were destroying each other. Thekla won with a curb stomp to the chairs. It was a great match, and both ladies hit each other HARD! (Sorry, Jamie) But I do hope this and the upcoming Tailgate Brawl are the stepping stones toward Blood & Guts!
TOXIC. #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember
— TDE Wrestling (@tdewrestling.com) 2025-09-18T02:05:10.026Z
Things got out of hand when all four women appeared, along with the rest of the Triangle of Madness. Yuta appeared to help Statlander again? Get outta here! I’m also excited for this 4-way at ALL OUT!
Alicia talked to Sky Flight. Top Flight has a qualifying match between Josh Alexander and Hechicero for the 4-way ladder match. Hangman warned them about the DCF causing trouble.
The 6th match was the second qualifying match for the 4-way ladder match. Killswitch and Kip Sabian faced Jetspeed. After learning what happened to Killswitch, I’m glad he is healthy. Throughout the match, Kip was being so mean to Killswitch. He needs his real friend back. Speedball pinned Kip with Time Adventure.
JetSpeed for the win! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

Big Bill continued to goad Eddie Kingston to face him at ALL OUT. TK is pulling out all the stops to make this ALL OUT a must-see.
Danielson had a sit-down with Darby and asked why he climbed Mt. Everest. Props to Darby for achieving something that the majority of people would fear doing. He doesn’t want Bryan to get involved in his match with Jon. Ooh, what did Bryan ask him to promise??

Mercedes walked out to watch Riho face Robyn Renegade. Sweet, Riho has new graphics.
Whenever I have a bad day, Riho takes the pain away…
Hey, it's Riho! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember
— TDE Wrestling (@tdewrestling.com) 2025-09-18T02:35:16.193Z
It’s funny when I heard Mercedes talk about Riho being a little girl. It’s like she forgot to look in the mirror today. I’m glad Riho still used the Crucifix Driver in her move set. She got the win, and Mone was stunned. After the match, Mercedes took a cheap shot at Riho. Exact revenge on her at ALL OUT, Riho!!!
The main event was for the last spot in the 4-way ladder championship qualifying match, Josh Alexander and Hechicero (team blue) vs Top Flight (team red). It’s interesting to listen to the crowd boo Josh since he’s actually their local MLP Champion. Dante has springs for legs. I think he would mesh well with Dorada, too. I cringed whenever I saw Josh take reverse ranas. Darius Martin ate all of Josh’s elbow for lunch. Hechicero pinned Dante with the Guillotine Leg Drop.

So, the 4-way tag team ladder match was set. It is going to be Money Marks vs Brodick vs Josh Alexander, and Hechicero vs Jetspeed. I think this is going to be one of the best matches at ALL OUT!
After the match, more DCF goons caused trouble. Scorpio Sky and Jetspeed ran in for the save. Money Marks joined the fray, but Brodido followed suit.
Bandido right on target! #AEWDynamite #SeptemberToRemember

Everybody brawled backstage except for Christopher Daniels. He was about to get choke-slammed by Lance Archer until Hangman came to the rescue. Kyle Fletcher had a numbers advantage and suplexed Hangman onto a table. Both titles were held high as the show ended.
What a great show! Are you guys hyped for ALL OUT? Please comment and let your thoughts out on the AEW September to Remember Recap!
