AEW Collision Recap – 10/25/25

By Jen RozenOctober 26, 2025
AEW Collision Recap

It’s Saturday, and you know what that means. I’m going to borrow Simon Miller’s slogan…AEW Collision is back to “make us all feel warm in the tum tum.” Let’s get this AEW Collision Recap started!

Hangman Page

A grumpy Hangman with his phone tucked within his skintight jeans started the show. He griped about how the Opps stabbed him in the back at WrestleDream.

Hanger claimed that he’s now hunting Sweetooth’s, aka Samoa Joe’s, ass and vowed to ruin his entire life. Those are some strong promises. Let’s see if he can deliver them…

PAC vs Tomohiro Ishii

PAC was next, and he cut a promo about his upcoming match with Ishii. His body was so chiseled that he looked like a gymnast. And I’m sure many gymnasts WISH they looked like Pac! Meanwhile, Ishii looked like a refrigerator with no neck…and there’s nothing wrong with that!

This match was stiff and methodical. You could hear the crowd heckling poor Yoots. Why was Garcia getting involved with shenanigans? PAC could handle his own matches. It looked like Ishii had a stinger on his shoulder after PAC delivered a piledriver on his dome. He couldn’t beat Ishii with a brain buster, so it took all three outside interferences and a running lariat to defeat him. Let’s hope the Stone Pitbull is ok…and that The Conglomeration gets payback!

Thekla vs Mina Shirakawa

The second match was between Thekla and Mina Shirakawa. Both of whom made their names in Stardom. This is their fourth 1-on-1 match in their careers. They’ve had 32…count ‘em…32 mixed tag team matches together as well. And for those who watched the CMLL Women’s Grand Prix event, this was taped BEFORE they all went to Mexico and tore the house down. Aubrey was exhausted afterward!

Mina started out by softening up Thekla’s knee for a figure four. She has eight legs, so why not? The fans loved it whenever Mina performed the shimmy. Well, “We Want Mina,” so who wouldn’t? Thekla performed a few painful-looking hair beals. The last time I saw someone perform a hair beal was from Emi Sakura on Riho. No matter who does it…ouch.

The Sisters of Sin made their presence felt by pulling Mina’s hair. What’s with all of this hair-pulling? Do you job, ref! Mina countered with an outside-in Tornillo and a unique Cloverleaf break breaker. A slap fest ensued on the top rope, but Thekla capitalized with a tree of woe superplex. Thekla has some serious strength throughout her body to do that kind of spot. With the help of Sisters of Sin, Thekla finished Mina with her submission, Death Trap. Could someone help out Mina? Toni is still “MIA,” I guess…

Lexi was backstage with TayJay. Tay’s hair was looking fab. Just saying. They were interrupted by Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell!!! That was quite a shock debut, to be honest. I didn’t think Nixon would debut that way, but I’m so happy for her! Let’s see what happens with these two going forward…and if any other debuts happen to strengthen the women’s tag division even further.

MxM TV was up next to see who would challenge them for a casting call. I am hoping it would be the Outrunners and Dalton Castle. I liked it whenever the MxM segment happened; they went out of their way to include Arkady.

MXM Collection

Ohh, it’s Olympia from CMLL! Taya Valkyrie was shook. I’ll accept that. She has a great physique and an imposing presence. No wonder TK brought her in!

Olympia wiped out the entire MxM TV with a top rope splash. Afterward, she performed squats while using Taya as her weight. Yeah, she strong!

Backstage, Olympia cut a promo to get a CMLL title shot with Mercedes. She’s going to have her shot on the next Collision! I liked how she was able to talk both in English as well as Spanish. GREAT JOB! I want to see more of this, TK!

The fourth match tonight was between The Bounty Hunter and new BBG member Ace Austin. I’m glad Ace was finally able to wrestle again. I’d take it that Kyle Fletcher and Ace Austin both shopped at the same eyewear store…

Bryan Keith vs Ace Austin

Big props go out to Keith for working on his physique. He also needs to take some tips from Ace Austin on his thighs. (Todd Edit: Don’t we all…?) I laughed when the crowd yelled to Austin, “I like your hair.” He simply replied, “Thank you.” Now, I would like to see a match between Ace Austin and Jack Cartwheel or PAC.

Keith executed a nasty top-rope Exploder to the outside of the ring. I’m sure Ace would feel that back bump for at least a week. Ace displayed tenacity and a flurry of moves. Keith countered with a leaping head butt that even Ishii himself would be proud of. After a tough back-and-forth matchup, Ace picked up the victory with The Fold. What a great match. BBG is back, baby!

Lexi was catching up with the human hot dog, Don Callis. He mocked her when she asked about the ongoing issues between Takeshita and Okada. Don vehemently proclaimed that the DCF is fine. In fact, there’s going to be an upcoming DCF summit on this upcoming Dynamite. We’ll see Don, we’ll see…

Afterward, Lexi interviewed the Outrunners and our favorite peacock, Dalton Castle. They were rudely interrupted by a bickering Caster and Bowens. There goes all of their TV time…

Hook

Up next, the Frat Boys fed Griff Garrison to Hook. He wasted no time dispatching Griff. Eddie was there to back up Hook. I think this segment ended a bit awkwardly.

Young bucks FTR vs Jetspeed Jurassic Express

The main event for the $400K prize was between FTR and Broke Bucks vs Jetspeed and Jurassic Express. I liked Jetspeed’s ‘NASA-inspired’ gear. This match was going at 100 miles per hour. Speedball looked like Nightwing while waiting for his prey from the top rope. Triple moonsaults connected to the outside while Luchasaurus did one of his own in the ring. Jungle Jack had a nice visit to the announce table. The crowd showed appreciation by chanting, “This is awesome.”  That assisted Tieras to a Powerbomb combo looked amazing.

Stokley was scheming with his pixie dust. Where was Beth when we needed her? Jack was sleeping for most of the match. I wonder how he felt about the new Conglomeration theme song…

Anyway, let’s get back to the match. Luchasaurus connected with a rare quadruple clothesline. The call of the night was when Nigel mentioned that Luchasaurus was hit right on the “dino nuts.” What a nice double shatter machine! They followed it up with a failed quadruple BTE trigger. Jetspeed got the W by pinning FTR. I’m quite shocked that they had won!

The show ended with FTR and Broke Bucks expressing their hate towards each other once again.

What an action-packed night! How did you guys feel about the show and my AEW Collision Recap? Let your thoughts be heard down below!
